Terms of Service

Welcome to The Sports ON Tap. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and The Sports ON Tap ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of thesportsontap.com, seattleontap.com and their subdomains, the 6 Pack Game (at 6pack.thesportsontap.com and 6pack.seattleontap.com) and any other games or contests we operate, and our related content and services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to participate in any contest that awards prizes.
Contests are void where prohibited by law. Some jurisdictions restrict or prohibit contests and games of skill or chance; it is your responsibility to make sure participation is lawful where you live.
Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of The Sports ON Tap are not eligible to win prizes.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account, which you may create using Sign in with Google. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and not share your account or create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Games and Contests

Our games, including the 6 Pack Game, are free to play. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

How it works. Each game may have its own rules, schedule, scoring, and deadlines, which are displayed within the game and are incorporated into these Terms. Picks or answers submitted after a deadline will not count.
Prizes. When prizes are offered, the specific prize, number of winners, and how winners are determined will be described within the game. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value unless stated. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Winner notification. Winners will be contacted at the email associated with their account. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, or is found ineligible, we may select an alternate winner.
Our decisions are final. We make all determinations regarding scoring, ties, eligibility, and winners in our sole discretion, and those decisions are final and binding.
Fair play. You may not use bots, scripts, multiple accounts, or any other means to manipulate results. We may disqualify anyone we believe is cheating or tampering with a game.
Changes and cancellation. We may modify, suspend, or cancel any game or contest at any time, including if technical problems, fraud, or events beyond our control compromise its integrity.

Our games are for entertainment. They are not gambling and no wagering or payment is involved. Nothing in the Services is betting advice.

4. Your Conduct

You agree not to: violate any law; harass, threaten, or abuse others; post content that is hateful, obscene, defamatory, or infringes anyone's rights; impersonate any person; interfere with the operation or security of the Services; scrape or copy the Services or content without permission; or use the Services for any commercial purpose without our written consent. Display names and any content you submit must be appropriate; we may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion.

5. Our Content and Intellectual Property

The Services and all of their content — including our name, logos, shows, videos, graphics, games, text, and software — are owned by The Sports ON Tap or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our permission.

By submitting content (such as display names, comments, or messages), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and reproduce that content in connection with operating and promoting the Services.

6. Third-Party Services

The Services link to and integrate with third-party platforms such as Google, YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, and merchandise stores. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY GAME RESULTS, SCORES, OR CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. Sports information and opinions on the Services are for entertainment purposes only.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SPORTS ON TAP AND ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Sports ON Tap from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Services or request account deletion at any time by emailing us. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
