We’ve heard of expensive tickets for sporting events. But sometimes we get tickets that just take the cake and this is one of them. And that’s this summer’s men’s final at Wimbledon between Novakl Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, which has shattered records for the most expensive get-in-price ticket at a sporting event in history at a whopping $10,600 dollars to just get into the door.
The get-in price for Sunday's Wimbledon final between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz is currently $10,600.

That makes it the most expensive get-in price ever recorded for a sporting event on @TickPick.

Just insane prices here. Look, I am an advocate for amazing sporting events and ticket prices can sometimes be expensive and can sometimes, but this is just ridiculous. I don’t know how we can begin to control some of the prices we are seeing lately. Would it have used to be fun to know you could go to a great game and pay a large but still reasonable price? Nowadays, we are getting records that are going to shut away the ordinary fans from attending some of the best events in the world.
