Kirk Cousins Might Have Rescued The Falcons Season On Monday Night Football

The Atlanta Falcons came from behind and beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. This has resulted in the Falcons avoiding going 0-2 and are now 1-1 heading into week 3 in a season full of expectations. Cousins got the ball with 1:39 left down just six points, and, it took six plays, and he delivered the game-winning touchdown to Drake London.

This was a huge difference from last week when Kirk Cousins looked like he was nervous about putting any pressure on his surgically repaired Achilles. The Falcons have a great offensive line and one of the best running games in the NFL and if Kirk Cousins can play like he did yesterday, the team should be pretty good.

Let's just point out the fact however, this all happened because Saquon Barkely dropped a wide open pass that would have iced the game for the Eagles and took them to 2-0. Simply, Saquon has to catch that.
