Every underdog has his day… Truer words have never been spoken. It’s now 2 weeks straight of absolutely wild upsets and huge numbers of underdogs sneaking in a backdoor cover. Jordan Love had his first start with the Green Bay Packers, filling in for a COVID-striken Aaron Rodgers and somehow managed to cover against a surging Kansas City Chiefs defense. Trevor Lawrence led his Jaguars to a major upset over Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills that left Bills Mafia stunned. And of course, the very controversial prime time matchup between the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers that was largely decided by the referees, but still ended up with Da Bears covering the spread of 6.5 points. Overall, it was a wild week for NFL football but the beauty of this game is that we start with a fresh slate every week. Do the underdogs have too long of a leash this week?
