Podcast: Seattle Seahawks v. Titans Week 2 Preview

Seattle Sports Podcast

The Seattle Seahawks lead the all-time series, 10-6, while the Titans have won two out of the past three meetings. We decided to do a podcast preview! First, here’s how you can watch Sunday’s matchup:

How to watch

Date: Sunday, Sept. 19 | Time: 4:25 p.m. ET
Location: Lumen Field (Seattle, WA)
Odds: Seahawks -6.5, O/U 54

@GeorgeONTap: The Seahawks week 1 of the 2021 season was one of the least stressful Seahawk games in years. The running joke is the Seahawks never play a normal game. Well, week 1 versus the Colts was… a normal game. Well, here comes the Tennessee Titans for week 2. And they come to Lumen Field where fans will be present for the first time since the 2019 season. Sounds weird to say right? But the fans are really what continues to make coming to Seattle the toughest place to play in the NFL.

The Seattle Seahawks are 6.5 point favorites at home against the Tennessee Titans. Now, I am not actually betting on this game but I am leaning for the Seahawks to cover this spread. I think for the 2nd week in a row the Seattle Seahawks will play a normal game. Now, that’s refreshing. The Titans got ran out of the building against the Cardinals in week 1, and I expect them to start off 0-2. My main concern for the Seahawks is our cornerbacks versus their WRs. But overall I do not think the Titans have an answer for our offense.

My final score Prediction Seahawks 31 Titans 24.

@SamiONTapI keep going back and forth with what type of game this will be for the Seahawks. Keyword, what TYPE? I think the Seahawks are the better team, will win this game, and have an extreme home-field advantage with fans back in Lumen Field in Seattle in over a year! This is going to be rocking. Yet, we had such a clean game against the Colts, and I am not really used to that, but will they for once give us 2 weeks in a row with a heart-attack? I don’t think so. Thats why it’s going to be a close one, but a win.

My final score Prediction Seahawks 31 Titans 27.
