The Utah Jazz are on absolute fire right now and hold the best record in the NBA at he time of this writing. And of course you can’t imagine the Utah Jazz having this type of success without blossoming star Donovan Mitchell, who is putting up monster stats. It looks like even haters are starting to love Mitchell. And that includes Shaquille O’Neal who earlier this season on a live interview told Donovan Mitchell he doesn’t have what it takes to take it to the next level:

And now Shaq is trying to take credit for the Jazz success. Saying:
“I never hate, I just try to give constructive criticism,” O’Neal said, per Ryan Miller of KSL.com. “My whole career I’ve been a leader and I motivate my players a certain way. So, you’re welcome Utah.”

It was a win-win situation for Shaq. If Donovan Mitchell rises, Shaq was the motivator. If Donovan Mitchell falls, Shaq was the fortune teller. A stroke of genius. https://t.co/KiCeV61Wzl
