Today in sports history November 24th, 2011, the Harbaugh Brothers Jim and John Harbaugh became the first set of brothers to coach against each other as head coaches of an NFL game. John Harbaugh was the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens, meanwhile Jim Harbaugh was the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. The Ravens would go on to win the game 16-6.

The two brothers did not stop there. Super Bowl XLVII featured the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers. The two brothers became the first two brothers to play against each in a Super Bowl as well. The Ravens also won that Super Bowl. The Harbaugh Brothers are the most succesful set as brothers as head coaches in NFL history. Jim is now the head coaching at the University of Michigan and John is still the coach of the Baltimore Ravens.
