Ideas For Thrill Seekers

You need a little excitement in your life, but going a little over the speed limit and crossing the road before the little man turns green has started to lose its luster. Instead, there must be something else you can find that will make you feel alive again. The good news is that there are plenty of opportunities for you to explore, meaning that any thrill seeker can experience that rush.

Climb Everything

Tapping into your innate childhood and climbing everything can feel like a release, and there are so many places to climb, you’re essentially spoiled for choice. Local climbing centers are an excellent place to start to help you get familiar with the activity and remind you that your upper body strength is lacking. Once you’ve mastered this, consider indulging in your inner Dawn Wall ambitions, and after a few years as well as a considerable ego boost, you might want to try your hand at a Free Solo style climb, but perhaps not as high as what we saw.

Go Fast, and Then Faster

Humans were not made for walking everywhere. Sure, it’s good for your health, and you need to get your 10K steps in. But in reality, we like to go fast, and then if possible, go even faster. Whether you’re planning a bachelor party or just want an adventure, there is an array of ways you can go as fast as you like, by either renting out a racetrack and jumping into a sports car or purchasing an ATV. If you’ve got enough land to ride around, this could be a fantastic way get your thrills without even leaving your home.v

Live Off the Land

If you want to prove to yourself that you could survive the apocalypse, living off the land by taking an extended camping trip and hiking into the middle of nowhere might be an excellent way to give you the thrills you crave. Roughing it, pitching your tent, living off the food you’ve sourced yourself can all prove that you’re a self-sufficient dude, leveling you up when society as we know it crumbles before our very eyes.

Ditch Your Job

Okay, this isn’t as exciting, but it could help you find some thrills. Quitting your job is never straightforward, especially not in this climate. However, if you show some patience and have a plan, you could ditch your dull office job for something you’ve always wanted to do. You could get into sports, you could indulge in your creativity, or you could tear up your life and start over on the other side of the world doing something entirely unusual but liberating. You’re unlikely to land a $1K modeling job, but you will at least be happy, and that’s really the greatest thrill you can ask for.

High Octane

There’s an idea that if you’re not going somewhere fast, you’re not going anywhere at all. Of course, this isn’t always the case, and it’s not necessarily something you should live every aspect of your life by. But, if you want to feel something more than what you’re used to, seeking some thrills at home or on the road could be the spark you need to realize there’s much more for you to
