Week 7 NFL Quarterback Power Rankings

Sometimes, I feel like there are things so obvious and so easy for myself to see. However, people will tend to call me crazy. As I am about to press publish on this week’s NFL quarterback power rankings I have a couple big takeaways that I need to highlight before:

1. Carson Wentz is really good. If you watched the game between the Eagles and Ravens, Carson Wentz was playing with a practice squad lineup, and if you paid some real attention (AKA don’t only watch the Red Zone channel), he looked like the better QB on the field in a game that featured Lamar Jackson.

2. Tom Brady is ahead of Aaron Rodgers in Power Rankings. Doesn’t mean he is better today but it means after his Buccaneers look like they might be the best team in the NFL and destroyed the Packers I have to put Brady ahead of Rodgers this week.

3. I bunched all three rookies together for the purpose of keeping it simple. And I am excited to see Tua play.

4. Phil Rivers and Drew Brees look old.

5. Don’t worry much about the ranking but look more at the tier.
