Today in sports history October 18th, 2004 David Ortiz walks off on the bottom of the 12th inning to begin the most improbable comeback in sports history. The Red Sox cut the lead 3-1 in the ALCS against the Yankees but the Red Sox were able to win 4 in a row to get to the World Series and win it all.
