Ty Lue is going to be the new head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers. He is finalizing a 5 year deal to be promted from assistant coach of the team to the new head coach.
Pretty cool for Ty Lue who seems to be a pretty damn good coach. However, he is replacing Doc Rivers in Los Angeles which makes this headline pretty ironic:

I am happy for Ty Lue. And this could make the Clippers versus Lakers rivalry even more intriguing heading into the next few seasons. Lue obviously coached LeBron in Cleveland and helped lead the team to the NBA title. Lue was also a candidate for the Lakers head coaching job last season. Lue also played for the Lakers during his NBA career. He will try to lead a stacked roster that seemed to have chemistry problems during the NBA bubble restart.
