Today In Sports History October 8: Don Larsen Is Perfect

Today in sports history October 8th, 1956 the New York Yankees Don Larsen threw the only perfect game in World Series history. It was againt the Brooklyn Dodgers in the old Yankee Stadium.

Could you imagine if this was during the social media era? I could only imagine how big of a deal would this be today. For one you have the Yankees which is the biggest brand in all of baseball (and maybe of all sports). Versus the Brooklyn Dodgers. The Dodgers are obviously a great organization as well. And back in 1956 this was a “subway” series.
