The Los Angeles Lakers are complaining to the NBA that LeBron James and the Lakers are not going to the free throw line enough in their series against the Denver Nuggets.
So the Lakers are making noise about LeBron’s lack of free throws vs Denver in @latimessports. Can’t wait to see what happens in Game 4: Lakers present case to NBA regarding LeBron James' lack of free throws https://t.co/K2vhxcpF0A

[Source] – The Lakers have presented a case to the NBA that their star, LeBron James, is not nearly getting his fair share of free throws even though they are positive the hard-charging forward is getting fouled plenty by the Denver Nuggets in their Western Conference finals playoff series.
James shot just two free throws during the Game 3 defeat to the Nuggets on Tuesday night at AdventHealth Arena. And those two free throws came after Denver guard Jamal Murray was called for a flagrant foul for an elbow to James’ jaw.
“We’re dealing with the fouls through the proper channels with the league,” coach Frank Vogel told the media via videoconference Wednesday after practice. “I think he’s gone to the basket very aggressively, and I’ll just leave it at that.”
Alright come on. Maybe the reason LeBron isn’t going to the line enough is not some conspiracy theory by NBA referees. LeBron shot two free throws in game 3? Here’s the flop that earned those two free throws by LeBron:

And in game 1 the Nuggets head coach Mark Malone had his own complaints about free throws:
Nuggets coach Michael Malone on FT disparity in Lakers’ Game 1 blowout win: “They went to the foul line 24 times in one quarter. 24 times in a quarter, which is an extremely high number. On pace for almost 100. And we were called for 16 personal fouls in that (second) quarter.” pic.twitter.com/25IemkTgfC

If you ever listen to our podcast you know I hate this. I hate complaining and filing reports about free throws. It’s so bush league it’s not even funny. So yes, filing a report is bad Karma. So for that reason and that reason alone I am not full on rooting for the Denver Nuggets.
