One day after the Big 10 anounced that it would be returning to action the Pac-12 is now following suit and aiming to start their season on Halloween ( October 31st ). The Big 10 announced it would be returning one week earlier on October 24th. The return on the Pac-12 is dependent on approval from the University presidents and the adjustment of the local health restrictions in the Pac-12 school’s local areas.

Pac-12 medical advisotrs have informed the league that hte players would need 6 weeks of prep to get ready for games. Now, this could change to 5 weeks and is just medical advice.
I have to say I am absolutely pumped. We went from about 6-8 weeks ago thinking that there might be no college football around the whole country to basically having the whole college football world playing by October (minus the MAC conference). Nothing short of good news and in a year where I feel like I get nothing but bad news watching my Washington Huskies return on October 31st (my birthday) would be a sight for sore eyes.
