Today in sports history September 4, 1993 Jim Abbott who was born with only one arm went on to the mound and threw a no-hitter for the New York Yankees. This is one of the most remarklable stories in all of sports. Imagine. One arm and he goes out and throws a no-hitter. Just making the Majors with one arm is impressive but to do throw a no-hitter?! Amazing.
