Today in sports history August 26, 1939 the first ever game Major League Baseball game on TV was broadcasted between the Reds and the Dodgers. Announcer Red Barber called the game between the Cincinnati Reds and the Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn, New York.
