And this morning the Big 10 announced that 12 of the 14 schools voted to cancel the upcoming fall season. Last night many college football stars tweeted out their support to play the season with the #WeWantToPlay hashtag.
We NEED football, the country NEEDS football! We understand the precautions we have to take every single day for this to happen and we are more than willing to do that. There’s been too much hard work put in to bring everything to a hault. #WeWantToPlay !!!

Now we wait and see what happens. It seems pretty evident that the Big 10 and Pac 12 will cancel fall sports. Will this make the ACC, Big 12 and most importantly the SEC follow suit? Only time will tell. But it’s hard to imagine now that college athletes are using their voices that things will ever look the same again in college football.
