Uh-Oh… I Am Falling In Love With Kyle Lewis & The 2020 Mariners

Kyle Lewis Mariners

Here we go again, folks. After a 1-4 start, I was ready to watch the Mariners without stress. I never give up on the Seattle Mariners, I am True To The Blue, but I will understand when I should just watch and enjoy the process. Well, maybe the process is working now?! A 3-game winning streak puts the Mariners at .5 a game back from first place, in a 60-game season where 16 teams make the playoffs. At 4-4, we are already 13% through the season, so I will rightfully be excited.

Really though, last night, I spent a while trying to find me (top) and my best friend, Kitt Hawkins (& his pup Nova) in the stands, but couldn’t find us yet, so let me know on Twitter if you see us.

First let me say, I doubt Taijuan Walker, I always do and it’s bad. There is something about being a Mariners fan where you tend to see the negative side of things, but oh boy did he impress.

Plus, he was fitted in some Jordans:

Lastly, the bats looks good, in particular I am loving seeing the Kyle Seager and Kyle Leis combo.. Kyle Lewis, of course, is just something else. He is basically .455 eight games into the season, he has consistency at the plate, and he can hit some out of the ballpark. He also had SIX straight multi-hit games.

Reminder: He just turned 25 years old in July. That’s it. I love this Mariners team. I love Kyle Lewis and I am already falling for it in 2020. Let’s hope the season stays, cause I need to watch some more Mariners baseball!
