On This Day In Sports History August 1st: Kevin Durant Drops 66 At Rucker Park

On August 1st, 2011 Kevin Durant showed up to the famous Rucker Park in New York City and dropped 66 points, which was one of the first legendary moments of social media showcasing pick up basketball games.

August 1st tends to be a slow time in sports. Baseball is in the middle of the season. The dog days of summer as they say. So historically not too much happens in Early August. I came across this clip and just remembered how cool it was. Kevin Durant just gets buckets. Is he a top 5 scorer of all time?
