Streamlining Your Life When You’re Always on the Go

NFL Team Plane

Many of us live lives that are filled with travel and we’re rarely ever home. Whether that’s due to a demanding job, a talent that has you touring in your free time, you travel a lot to visit family, or you’re a sports enthusiast who loves to follow your favorite team, it can be hard to manage life when it seems like you’re always on a plane or in an Uber.

But living a hectic on-the-go life doesn’t have to be a hassle. There are ways to minimize the amount of chaos you deal with and keep things organized and on schedule no matter where you are in the world. There are plenty of tools and resources out there to help you keep life manageable, if you just know where to look.

We’ve laid out a few of our favorites below.

Virtual Planners/Schedulers

These days, our iPhones do most of this for us, and if that works for you, great. But some of us need something a little more heavy duty to help us keep track of our business schedules full of flights, rides, meetings, deadlines, appointments, and familial obligations.

Luckily, there are plenty of online scheduling software and apps to choose from, many of which act as a calendar and a scheduler, helping you keep all of your appointments and obligations in one easy place. With built in reminders, contacts features and more, you’ll find it easier than ever to keep track of everything going on in your life.

And for the truly old school, you can’t beat a good old fashioned day planner. There’s something cathartic about writing your schedule and appointments with your own hand, and many date books are small and sleek enough to fit in any carry on.

Virtual Post Office

In recent years, the virtual post office box has become increasingly popular. Many companies such as https://www.physicaladdress.com offer great online PO boxes that allow you to check your mail from anywhere in the world you might happen to be. These services also provide you with a physical address to provide when conducting business, giving out return addresses to clients, and so on. Log in every day to check your email, which is scanned by an experienced team and then confidentiality destroyed. It’s a much easier way to pay bills, read letters and more without having to check a physical post office box or mailbox, which can be really hard to do when you’re always on the go.

Apps and More

There have been a whole host of cool apps that have cropped up recently for the frequent flyer and/or traveler, offering all sorts of neat incentives, discounts and helpful ways to make your travel experience go smoother. These include apps to order and pay for meals on flights, so you don’t have to deal with cash or credit cards; apps to help you navigate TSA easier; apps to help you book everything from cheap hotel rooms to parking in various cities; apps to earn points on air travel, train and Uber travel, and so much more. Depending on your type of travel, having a few of these apps installed on your phone can really make life easier.

These are just a few ways to make your frequent travel-filled life less chaotic, more convenient, and definitely more enjoyable. When you’re always on the go, you want things to be as simple and hassle-free as possible!
