Teddy Bridgewater is set to be a a rich man, now it’s time to see if it’s with the Saints or someone else… The NFL free-agent market is shaping up to be one of the craziest we have ever seen. There are a bunch of teams around the league that have $50-plus million to spend on the open market. Something like that could prove to be very beneficial to Teddy Bridgewater who is vying to get a starting QB job after stepping in and going undefeated while Drew Brees was out in 2019.
According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Bridgewater’s market is expected to pay him around $30 million annually.

The 27-year-old threw for 1,205 yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions after Brees suffered a torn ligament in his right thumb. He will probably wait and to see if Brees retires before completely testing out the free agent market.
UPDATE: Drew Brees has announced he will be coming back in 2020.
