Here’s a deal that just makes too much sense for anyone to disagree. The Timberwolves have landed D”Angelo Russell who has been rumored to one to play with Karl-Anthony Towns and ahe traded Andrew Wiggins to the Golden State Warriors:
Golden State has agreed to trade D'Angelo Russell to Minnesota for a deal that includes Andrew Wiggins, a 2021 protected first-round pick and a 2022 second-round pick, league sources tell ESPN. Warriors will send Jacob Evans and Omari Spellman to Timberwolves too ? pic.twitter.com/9YwLpUY49N

The Warriors clearly believe that bringing Andrew Wiggins into a winning environment — something he has really never experienced — will take him to a new level. They will face no shortage of skepticism …

The Warriors always liked Wiggins more than most of us would ever think leading up to this deal. They felt like he was a better positional fit.

Honestly I agree with this deal for the Warriors. As I tweeted this out when the deal went through:
Think that Wiggins will be a great fit in Golden State. Winning organizations tend to get the most out of talented players. I think he’ll thrive

I completely agree with this notion. Look, many are believing that D’Lo is MUCH better than Wiggins. I disagree. Maybe D’Angelo Russell is better but it can’t be by much. And not just that, I think Wiggins just has been in the wrong situations. Also, the Warriors will be heading back next season with Curry,Klay,Wiggins Dryamond and what could be a top 5 pick. Pray for the league.
