Miami Trade For Grizzlies’ Iguodala & Sign Him to 2-year, $30M Extension

Andre Iguodala Miami Heat

The Memphis Grizzlies agreed to trade veteran Andre Iguodala to the Miami Heat, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Iguodala will also reportedly sign a two-year, $30-million extension with Miami. However, the second season (2021-22) is a team option.

The Grizzlies had been holding Iguodala out for the season after acquiring him from the Golden State Warriors last summer. They had hoped to eventually flip him to a contender prior to Thursday’s trade deadline.

Miami is also reportedly working toward a deal to acquire Oklahoma City Thunder forward Danilo Gallinari.
