FIFA Gamers Decided To Sue EA Sports For Getting Bad Players On Their Fake Team

Player Sues Fifa

Source: Two Paris lawyers have filed lawsuits against Electronic Arts regarding their very popular FIFA video game series, arguing that its Ultimate Team mode should be labeled as a form of gambling. They are representing clients who’ve allegedly spent hundreds of Euros in that mode.

In FUT, players earn and buy packs of cards that feature the current and past great football stars, and either plug them into their roster or sell them on an auction-style transfer market.

I have never related more to this lawsuit. I play FIFA daily and it’s the best video game in the world. However, packs are like buying basketball or baseball cards. There is a element of gambling involved and you never get anything good.
They are representing a client that has supposedly spent “€600 in five months without ever getting a big player”
Their client says the best player he’s ever acquired is Napoli’s Kostas Monolas, who he claims he doesn’t even know.
Guys this is literally like if you spent $600 dollars on Madden players and the best player you got was Ryan Tannehill. You’d be upset. I don’t know if he is going to win his lawsuit or not but I totally support this guys lawsuit.
