Two Former Seattle Seahawks Receivers Drafted To The XFL’s Seattle Dragons

Seattle Seahawks XFL Seattle Dragons

The XFL is officially underway and began their drafting stage on Tuesday morning. Eight teams all went through 10 rounds of skill positions players. The Seattle Dragons had a busy afternoon picking up tons of former Seahawks, including two for their receiving core.

The Seattle Dragons came away with two former Seattle Seahawks receivers – Keenan Reynolds and Kasen Williams. Williams is a former University of Washington product who spent parts of the 2015 and 2016 season with the Seahawks. Kasen Williams had some memorable preseason moments but unfortunately it did not pan out. Never forget this legendary Odell Beckham-like catch he made:

Reynolds starred as a quarterback at Navy before getting selected in the NFL draft. He had a productive preseason this year, but was cut by the Seahawks and will now get a chance in the XFL. A handful of other former Seahawks were added to rosters, including running back Christine Michael and quarterback Cardale Jones, who Seattle released off its practice squad last month.

The XFL season will kick off on February 8, one week after the conclusion of the Super Bowl. After round 1 of the draft, the XFL was able to pick up many former NFL QBs – which should be best for the league. Will you be tuning in??
