The five-seed Auburn Tigers have had a wild up-and-down season, being as high as the seventh ranked team in the nation, to being unranked at times. Fortunately for the Tigers, they’ve been hot at the right time, including today in the Sweet 16 against the one-seed North Carolina Tarheels.
With a commanding 14-point lead with 8 minutes to go, the unfortunate occurred. Chuma Okeke, Auburn’s leading rebounder, and third-leading scorer went down with a non-contact brutal knee injury. All we can do is hope for the best and send our prayers, as the Tigers are most likely headed to the Elite Eight. The good news? Okeke walked off with some assistance, so it might be as bad as it first seemed.

Classy move by North Carolina, everyone came and supported Okeke as he was coming off the court. Sportsmanship still exists at times!
