Unlike the majority of NFL offseason’s, 2019 has been a wild one, and another domino falls today. The New York Giants have traded superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to the Cleveland Browns.
The Cleveland Browns will send a first-round pick (No. 17 overall), third-round pick, and safety Jabril Peppers in exchange for Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham signed a five-year extension worth up to $95 million with the Giants on August 27, 2018. He registered 77 receptions for 1,052 yards with six touchdowns through 12 starts with the Giants in 2018. Beckham was inactive for New York’s final four games of the season due to a quad injury.
This is a huge upgrade for second year QB Baker Mayfield who is looking to get the Browns to the playoffs for the first time since 2002. After an 0-16 season in 2017, the Browns went 7-8-1 in 2018 and were on the edge of making the playoffs.
Odell Beckham Jr. gets to reunite with his best friend and former college teammate Jarvis Landry, two of the NFL’s top receivers.
