The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James have had a very interesting week. After beating the Houston Rockets post All-Star Break The Lakers have dropped two straight games to the lowly New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies. Let’s start with some interesting news from today, after the loss to the Pelicans LeBron stated that his team needed a bigger sense of urgency he said about his teammates:
“How many know what’s at stake if you’ve never been there?” James asked Saturday… “I’m playing devil’s advocate, you know? It’s kind of a fine line when you talk about that, because when you’ve never been there or know what it takes to actually shoot for something like that, sometimes you’re afraid to get uncomfortable.
“So you got to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. So I’m not saying that’s what we are as a whole. It kind of looks that way at times, that sometimes we’re afraid to be uncomfortable and kind of get out of
our comfort zone and kind of, you know, have that sense of urgency from the jump, and not be afraid to actually go out and fail to succeed. So, I mean we have, what? Twenty-three games left. We’ll see what happens.”
Today, video came out that LeBron James was out at a recording studio with 2Chainz the day before sitting out against The Golden State Warriors for “load management”:

Pretty interesting to question your teammates commitment when you are at a rap studio late the night before a game that you missed for “load management”. And after the loss to the Memphis Grizzlies LeBron had another message for his teammates:

Speaking of commitment of course social media went to find clips of LeBron commitment like this play on defense:
